Goodbye to a Good Mule


Little Maggie Mule started out her life as a pack mule. We took Maggie on when her 40 y/o companion passed away, she was probably in her early to mid 20s.


She spent some time with our dear friends teaching kids to ride, then spent a few years here with us mostly enjoying herself. She was very attached to our little spotted donkey and spent most of her time following him around.



She wasn't very tall but she had a grand voice that sounded like a donkey crossed with a zebra and a big heart.  Our little mule friend was laid to rest today, everybody loved Miss Maggie.

    What a beautiful lady mule! We like the photo of her singing! I'm sure she could be heard for a very long way! I'm sorry for your loss of your lovely friend.

    She was also very much loved by our friends who had her until the end, she could sing her way into anyone's heart
