The bachelor bulls have been hanging around the neighborhood again. They survived hunting season but didn't make it as breeding bulls this year.

I watched them snoozing on the hillside for a few hours before heading out to take some pictures

They got up, stretched and preened for a while

Then they came closer to investigate us
