Butterscotch brownies

I've been looking at this recipe for a while, wanting to make some of these and I wasn't disappointed. They were just the right mix of not-too-sweet and a little bit salty. I made a batch tonight without the walnuts

Butterscotch Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix the following first:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 beaten eggs

Slowly blend in the following, you may want to sift these together:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Bake until they are set in the middle. Enjoy!
